Women in Technology

We absolutely agree with Glamour Magazine: more women in technology, please! The next Steve Jobs could be a Stephanie, just as the next Mark Zuckerberg could be a Marcia.

“While women make up 48 percent of our workforce, they hold just 24 percent of the jobs in science, tech, engineering and math.”

In Glamour’s article advocating for more women in the technology field, they profile 6 awesome women who are already making waves in the tech field.

These women include Jess Lee of Polyvore, Hilary Mason of Bitly, Caterina Fake of Flickr, and Kati London of Zynga.
