In Memory of Steve Jobs: Death Still Inspires

We were shocked to hear the news of tech legend and icon Steve Jobs passing yesterday October 5, 2011. Steve Jobs founded arguably one of the most successful companies in history, Apple Inc. He was infamous for his predictable clothing choices (black turtleneck and high-waisted jeans) but infinitely famous for driving game-changing creations of the iPod, iPhone and iPad devices among others.

His innovation and vision still continues to inspire many of us, not just in the tech field, but those of us contemplating and pursuing our dreams. If you haven’t seen this all over Facebook or your inbox yet (over 8.3 million views to date!), in his commencement speech in 2005 to graduates of Stanford University and the rest of the world, Jobs gives this advice:

“You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life…. Stay hungry. Stay foolish.”

We are starving fools!
