How many of us log onto Facebook to read updates that simply just annoy us? Do we really want to read a vague statement that is posted just so we will ask “what is wrong?” A recent study has come out that says women have a large ‘distaste for their friends’, specifically in the realm of social networks.
About 85% of those in the study said they were at some point annoyed by their friend. The top culprits?
- Those who complain all the time (odd that 63% complained about this)
- Unsolicited political views (42% said this annoyed them)
- Bragging (32% admitted this annoyed them and pointed out imperfections in their lives).
Those surveyed also complained of those who used Facebook to document their lives by updating their every move. This is ironic because 79% of those who were polled stated that they enjoyed using Facebook to update their friends about their lives.
Facebook is everywhere these days. Any webpage you visit has a “like” button located somewhere within it. Facebook even follows us when we were not near a computer. We get updates instantly on our cell phones. If Facebook annoys women on their laptops, it most certainly annoys women on their cell phones. Do your Facebook friends annoy you? Do you really want to know the play by play of your friends’ lives?
